Our owner of Auto City Auto Body and Collision Repair Center, Paul Blouin, grew up close to an auto body shop where he developed a liking for automotive work. He would hang around the small auto body shop where he would watch the auto body technicians complete their work up close. His fascination with auto body work grew over the years, and one day, he decided to buy a car that had been in a wreck. An older man from the body shop helped him repair the car back to its original form.
Before opening shop in Manchester, Paul started working in mechanical repair and managed an auto body shop in East Boston where he learned the basic training and skills of managing a repair shop.
Paul always had every customer’s vehicle fully detailed after they had their car repaired at Auto City. Today, our team provides the same detail work after every repair job. The first fifteen years Auto City was opened, we didn’t advertise. We relied solely on referrals from our loyal customers.
Paul and our team enjoy the ever changing technology in the automotive industry. Today’s vehicles are more complicated than they were in the past in almost every aspect. There can be a total of four different metals in the front of the vehicle needing to be welded differently according to factory recommendations. The technology of airbags has also changed. This is why we have a technician who is certified for working with airbags and knows how to reset the restraining system and troubleshoot different problems. Our team is prepared, certified and always up for the continual advances coming our way in automotive technology.
